Year-round corpsmembers help communities attain state-mandated and local waste-reduction goals. Community Recycling Crew services are coordinated by CCNB in partnership with land management agencies, local governments, community organizations, schools and county businesses.

Community Recycling Crew services are coordinated by CCNB in partnership with land management agencies, local governments, community organizations, schools and county businesses. We also provide recycling services to some of the most visible events in Marin and Sonoma counties, including the Marin County Fair and Sonoma Raceway events.
CCNB is currently collecting e-waste from business and non-profit organizations. We are partnering with ECS, an e-waste recycler, to ensure that all e-waste is properly recycled. CCNB recycling crews provides used motor oil recycling education to the public in Marin and Sonoma counties. The recycling crew is also working with Marin County Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program to label all storm drains in the county and prevent illegal dumping of used motor oil into our waterways.
The CRC program is working with various organizations in Marin and Sonoma counties to promote tire recycling, as well as remove illegally dumped tires from public land. CRC crews have also worked on special tire recycling projects; including Tire Amnesty Day’s and illegally dumped tire cleanups throughout the State.
