Since moving to our bigger, more accessible Sonoma County location in Santa Rosa, our Zero Waste department can offer expanded waste management services. From the very first day, we were welcomed by an enthusiastic community and lots of activity.
CCNB’s Zero Waste Department provides tire, carpet, e-waste, and mattress recycling, as well as other waste management services at different capacities throughout Marin, Sonoma, and other neighboring counties. Up until the opening of our move from Cotati, e-waste and tire recycling was limited to specific events at different locations. During our first two days in Santa Rosa, we received 17 waste tires, 4 drop-offs of wall-to-wall carpet, 77 mattresses, and over 200 pounds of e-waste for recycling. Our new building allows us to store larger quantities of waste before it gets shipped out to recycling facilities. These numbers tell the story of a community eager to recycle.
It is encouraging to see the Santa Rosa community, as well as our regulars, continue to support our mission to conserve natural resources by keeping waste away from landfills.
